Mathematics Day Celebration -21.12.2011
"Mathematics Day" was celebrated on the occasion of
the birthday of the great mathematician Srinivas Ramanujam.
Mathematical models related to
our daily life , tools, teaching aids and chart
on the work of the mathematician was exhibited
to students class-wise.

Meeting -19.12.2011
The VMC meeting of KV Khanapara
was convened on 19.12.2012 at 3.30 p.m under the
Presidentship of VMC Chairman Shri Ashuotsh
Agnihotri IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Kamrup
(Metro), Guwahati. Due to exigencies venue was
shifted to Deputy Commissioner Office, Guwahati.
Meeting started on time in the Chamber of Deputy
Commissioner. Principal introduced the members
to Chairman and discussion started as per
agenda.

IYC-2011 has been organized in the vidyalaya
on 24th October,2011 with enthusiasm.
The teams comprises of the winners of Cluster
Level Competitions held in various nearby KVs.
24th National Youth Parliament Competition 17th & 18th Oct 2011
Our Youth Parliament Team
comprising of 54 members under the guidance of
two energetic and dedicated felicitator has won
the Zonal Level National Youth Parliament Competition -2011
held at K.V. IOC Noonmati on 17th October 2011. They stood Third in National Level
competition held in Delhi.

22nd Sep 2011. The team comprises of 8 members
under the guidance of Assistant
Commissioner KVS(GR) Dr. Jaideep Das observe the
teachers and took the stock of school
infrastructure and suggested the remedial
actions for some shortcomings.

A One day workshop on Chemical
Connect-2011 on 13th Sep 2011 has been organized
in the vidyalaya.The workshop was inaugurated by
our two eminent Education Officers Dr. Jaideep
Das and Shri. AVLJ Rao sir. In the workshop the
resource persons Mr. Anutosh Deb, TGT(Art) and
Ms. Zeenat, PRT both of KV Maligaon took the 24
participants through the details of the
Thinkquest project : KVS Chapters of Chemical
Connect-2011
Regional
Sports Meet -17th to 19th Aug 2011
Regional Sports Meet-2011 was organized with
much fanfare at Sarasujai National Stadium ,
Guwahati . Overall 650 students of 37 schools of
Guwahati Region were participated in different
events and shown their sporting talent. The meet
was inaugurated by Hon'ble Assistant
Commissioner of KVS(Guwahati Region) Shri. K.J.
Subba sir along with Education Officer
Dr. Jaideep Das sir.
65th Independence Day Celebration-15.08.2011
65th Independence Day was celebrated with great favor on 15th August'2011 at K.V.Khanapara.
Social Science
Exhibition -12.08.2011
School Level Social Science Exhibition was
organized on 12th Aug 2011 in the school
premises. Students got the opportunity to
display their creativity through various theme
based models. Social Science teachers judged
them and appreciate students for their wonderful
work.

Ceremony -12.08.2011
On 12th August 2011, an investiture ceremony was
held to felicitate students holding various
responsibilities in and outside the vidyalaya.

Nuclear Science Quiz was held on 6th August 2011
, so that students can understand the advantages
and disadvantages of Nuclear in our day-to-day
life as well as in our future.
Basketball Cluster Meet-04th & 05th Aug 2011
Basketball Cluster Meet was held at K.V.
Khanapara on4th & 5th August 2011. Overall six
boys and girls team were participated in the
meet. The meet was inaugurated by our Education
Officer Shri. AVLJ Rao.

A Report on Annual
Day 2010-11
The Annual Day of Kendriya
Vidyalaya Khanapara was celebrated on 30th April’2011 with pomp and show. Mrs. Anjana
Hazarika, Principal, Kendriya Vidyalaya Khanapara
welcomed the guests and dignitaries and
felicitated them with traditional Gamochha and
Bouquet. The Principal also readout the annual
report highlighting the achievements of the
Vidyalaya throughout the year 2010-11. Prizes were
distributed amongst the students who excelled in
various curricular and co-curricular activities as
well as academic toppers.
The guest of honour Sri A.K.
Vajpayee, Assistant Commissioner, KVS, Guwahati
Region delivered a brief speech wherein he
encouraged more and more students to come forward
and unfold their talents.
The chief guest of the occasion Dr.
J. Balaji, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Kamrup
(Metro) & Chairman, VMC, KV Khanapara also
addressed the gathering and blessed the children.
The cultural program being the main
attraction started with Gayatri Mantra followed by
a variety of colourful programs.
The Program ended with the vote of
thanks proposed by Mrs. Rekha Goswami, TGT
(Sanskrit) of the Vidyalaya.
