Kendriya Vidyalaya Khanapara is the oldest and the
most prestigious Kendriya Vidyalaya in the N.E.
Region. It is a Civil Sector Vidyalaya situated at
Jawahar Nagar Khanapara, accommodating
approximately 2400 students from class I to XII.
It also houses a single Pre-Primary class. The
Vidyalaya offers Science, Commerce and Humanities
Streams at +2 level with a number of optional
subjects as per KVS guidelines giving an
opportunity to the students to opt for their
choice of subjects.
