Three students participated in debate organized by Chinraya Mission. Himahi Naiwal got the first position, Rumi Sarma second and Anam Hilali third position. |

Two students Jameen S. Choudhury and Mariah Jasmeen participated in the Rajiv Gandhi Akshaya Usha Utsav Quiz and won several audience prizes. |

ALCHERINGA FEST-2009-
Thwenty students participated in the Alcheringa Fest’2009 organized by IIT (G). Dharna Dohotia and K Susant Singh got the 1st position in the NAVTANKI.
Anghadup Barua got the second position in the solo unplugged competition. In the in-sync dance competition, Ipshita Das and group got the second position. Diwakar Sarma qualified for the final of MR ALCHERINGA. |

Master Debojyoti Das Choudhury, student of Kendriya Vidyalaya Khanapara has been selected by KVS to participate in Japan East Asia Network for Exchange of Students and Youths (JENESYS) Programme. |

Dreams + Teams
K.V,Khanapara has been selected for the D+T project under the British council and Govt. of India to link up withWoodham Community technology College, UK under Dreams+ Teams project. Principal Ms Anjana Hazarika and Link teacher Ms Indira Saikia Buragohain visited the link school at UK in the month of Feb 09. For the phase 2, two local tutors and six students were selected to undergo training with Sarah, International trainer at Sarusajai stadium in Guwahati.The two accredited local tutors are-

All the local tutors and the 6 young leaders attended the five day training program and were trained by International Trainer Sarah Thorp of UK and Potential trainer Anchal of New Delhi.During this training program the young leaders also organized a MINI-FEST along with the young leaders of 3 other school and more than a hundred children participated in the fest.
